In order to assess efficiency of cycloferon liniment in combined treatment for herpetic infection in patients with atopic dermatitis there was carried out an examination of 40 patients divided into two. In the first group the basic treatment was combined with cycloferon liniment applied twice a day within a 7-day period, while in the second group the treatment was implemented in compliance with standard guidance. It was proved that the use of cycloferon liniment in combination of therapeutic measures with patients with relapse of herpetic infection against the background of atopic dermatitis contribute the more dynamic disappearance of general infectious syndrome, reduces the duration of skin rash, of local inflammation, quickens the epithelization of erosions, lowers the frequency of relapses of infection in catamnesis.
