The journal follows international standards (ICMJE/COPE) and publishes information about authorship in a transparent and verifiable manner.
Criteria for authorship
An author is considered to be a person who simultaneously:
All four conditions are mandatory. Funding, administrative support, provision of materials/equipment, routine data collection, or technical editing do not constitute authorship and should be acknowledged in the "Acknowledgements" and "Funding" sections.
Contribution and responsibility
The manuscript specifies the contribution according to the CRediT taxonomy for each author. A corresponding author is designated to liaise with the editorial office, confirm that all co-authors meet the criteria for authorship, that permissions have been obtained for the use of third-party materials, that ethical and data/code accessibility requirements have been met, that standards of transparency and data reproducibility have been followed, and to submit a conflict of interest statement on behalf of all authors of the article.
After the manuscript is accepted for publication, the corresponding author is responsible for the accuracy of the author's proofs, including the spelling of co-authors' names, their affiliations and addresses, and the correctness of contact details. After the article is published, the corresponding author remains the main contact person for all issues related to the publication lifecycle and promptly informs the co-authors of any incoming requests.
Changes in the list of authors after submission of the manuscript (changes in order, additions, or deletions) are permitted only with the consent of all authors and must be accompanied by a document describing the contribution of each author and the rationale for the change in authorship. The editorial board does not act as an arbitrator in disputes over authorship.
Order of authors
The order of authors is determined by them before submitting the manuscript and should reflect the actual contribution of each author. The journal does not impose formal restrictions on the number of authors; however, the composition of co-authors must be commensurate with the scientific task, volume, and complexity of the research. In case of obvious inconsistency, the journal has the right to request justification and correction of authorship information or to reject the manuscript.
Unacceptable practices
Honorary/guest authorship, concealment of actual authors (ghost authorship), buying/selling places on the list of authors, and imposing citations in exchange for authorship or editorial decisions are prohibited.
Identifiers and affiliations
Each author is required to have an ORCID iD. Current affiliations at the time of completion/submission of the work must be indicated; if the author changes jobs, an additional current affiliation is permitted. The contact address of the corresponding author is published in the article.
