The journal's aims are to:

To provide an internationally recognised platform for the publication of original theoretical and applied research in economic sciences, prioritising scientific novelty, methodological rigour and open access to results.

Scope of the journal:

To publish original research, reviews and methodological works in key areas of economics, such as economic theory, methods and models, regional and sectoral economics, finance, world economics, management and state and municipal administration.

• To ensure high-quality, timely, double-blind peer review with transparent criteria and feedback to authors.

• Comply with and promote high standards of publication ethics (including COPE recommendations), plagiarism prevention and the proper handling of conflicts of interest and retractions.

Support a policy of full open access and distribute materials under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence.

• Serve as an information platform for the professional discussion of the results of theoretical and applied research, emphasising the economic efficiency of practical solutions.

Strengthen scientific ties between Russian and foreign researchers and increase the international recognition and citation of published materials.

To improve the quality of peer review and editing and enhance editorial procedures and digital infrastructure (DOI, archiving and indexing).

• Promote the applied significance of research and its use in educational and management practice.
